
Kashif “Kash” Hameed
Board Chair
Kashif “Kash” Hameed, Founder and Executive Director of Klinic Kids, earned Hall of Fame honors at Iona College before playing professional basketball in Europe. He cut his playing career short, to became a leader in urban education, driven by a passion for supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of children in underserved communities. He went on to found Klinic Kids, a program designed to harness the power of sports as a tool to teach mental health and wellness, helping young people build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.

Vice President
Previously, Shakira served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at the KIPP Foundation, where she played a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives and providing critical thought partnership to the CEO and executive leadership team. She led efforts to streamline operations, optimize productivity, and facilitate the successful execution of the organization’s priorities, including college partnerships and alumni impact.

Shayna Corpas is a dedicated School Psychologist with the New York City Department of Education, where she provides comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, and academic/behavioral support to students across diverse settings.

DELROY PHANG
Treasurer
Delroy Phang is a former basketball player for the Iona Gaels and then the Rams. Phang hails from Jamaica, West Indies, and attended St. Elizabeth High School. Mr. Phang remains committed to basketball and believes in the sport as a useful tool to teach young people life lessons.

Board Member
Ken Black believes that seeing different changes everything. It's the through line that has defined his career — from designing for Nike to leading creative transformation across global brands, teams, and industries. Today, Ken operates at the intersection of sport, creativity, and human potential as a strategist, advisor, and coach to organizations, entrepreneurs, and leaders who want to reimagine what’s possible. Ken’s belief is simple and powerful — when we learn to shift our perspective, we open the door to new ideas, new confidence, and better futures for ourselves and the communities we serve.

Dr. Joseph Cordero is a seasoned educational leader and community strategist with more than 30 years of experience advancing academic excellence and expanding opportunities for young people. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to closing equity gaps, strengthening schools, and building community partnerships that drive meaningful, sustainable change. Dr. Cordero continues to invest in future generations through his service on several boards, and brings to every endeavor a deep belief in the transformative power of education, leadership, and collective action.
